4th Summit is a mountain guiding company that specialises in climbs of Mount Kilimanjaro; but we figure you know that already from the rest of our website! Dave Robb, mountaineer and designer, started 4th Summit after returning from his successful climb of Mount Kilimanjaro as part of his challenge of climbing the Seven Summits, the tallest mountain on each continent.
What can we offer you?
At 4th Summit, we can offer you the 6 routes to the Summit of Kili, as well as some beautiful treks round the mountain that don’t involve summiting for those of saner disposition. We offer numerous set departures throughout the year but our real specialty lies in making a climb exactly to your requirements. We can take you on treks to some of the most beautiful, remote and little visited places on the mountain as you acclimate, seeing sights few others see. For those chasing that extra kick from their adventure, we offer the Western Breach summit route, the option of camping between the glaciers inside the vast crater of Kili and, if after reaching the summit you still have the energy, a trip to the very centre of the crater. We also offer warm-up climbs of Mount Meru 40km south west of Kili and skydives over the mountain; the prefect pre-climb activity.
